Ed Abadines

Ed leads development for Socialogue. He is a senior engineer with experience in embedded systems, databases, and user interface software, whose current technical interests include: Mobile Applications, Ruby on Rails, jQuery, HTML5.

Prior to joining Socialogue, Ed was a principal at E4C Solutions, LLC., a mobile software applications company concentrating on the Android and the Apple iOS platforms. E4C has had a top 25 iPhone application in Education (Conversational Tagalog) and three mobile apps on the iTunes App Store's What's Hot list (Zanshin, December 2009; Pad Math, May 2010; Conversational Tagalog, most recently November 2010).

For 8 years, he worked at Cisco as a senior engineer, and he was a member af the founding team of Cerent, designing the Cerent 1.0 release. Cerent was then sold to Cisco Systems, Inc.

Ed also worked for Nortel as an embedded software designer. He holds a US patent, a MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
